AuthorsGTM (authorsgtm.com) is a go-to-market operating system for nonfiction book authors. This page explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do — and don’t do — with it. It is written in plain language on purpose.
The short version: your manuscript, contacts, and calendar exist to help us plan and draft your book launch. We never sell your data, never share it with anyone outside the systems listed below, and every message the app drafts on your behalf requires your explicit approval before it ever sends.
AuthorsGTM is operated by its founder. If you have a question about this policy or your data, contact the owner via authorsgtm.com.
Account & sign-in. Your email address, used for magic-link sign-in, or your Google account identity if you choose to sign in with Google. We use Supabase Auth to manage sessions; we don’t handle or store passwords ourselves.
Manuscript & voice samples. The manuscript you upload, plus any website links or writing samples you provide, are used only to build your book’s positioning, messaging, quote library, and a style profile so AI-drafted content sounds like you. This content is never used to train shared models and is never shown to other authors.
Platform numbers & goals. Numbers you enter (email list size, social following, launch goals) drive the Review Goal Calculator and campaign forecasts inside your workspace.
Google contacts and calendar (optional). If you connect Google from the Connections Hub, we request read-only access to your Google Contacts (including “other contacts”) and Calendar. We use this strictly to suggest people worth reaching out to during your launch — for example, noticing someone you meet with regularly who might make a good podcast lead or advance reader. We never write to your contacts or calendar, never post on your behalf through this connection, and never share the underlying contact or calendar data with any other party. You can disconnect Google at any time from the Connections Hub, which stops future syncs.
Reviews, outreach, and speaking activity. Data you or the app record about advance readers, review status, outreach contacts, and speaking leads, all scoped to your own campaign workspace.
Your workspace data lives in a Postgres database hosted by Supabase, with row-level security enforcing that every table is scoped to your workspace — the application code has no service-role bypass around that isolation.
OAuth tokens for connected providers (like Google) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before they touch the database. Token values are never sent to your browser and never appear in client-side code.
AuthorsGTM uses Anthropic’s Claude models (and, for some operations, other configured model providers) to draft positioning, outreach messages, content, and speaking materials from your manuscript and quote library. Every AI-drafted message requires your explicit review and approval before it is ever sent — the app never sends anything automatically. Data sent to these providers is used to generate your drafts and is not used by AuthorsGTM to train shared models.
You can request deletion of your workspace and all associated data — manuscript, voice profile, connections, contacts, reviews, and drafts — at any time by contacting the owner via authorsgtm.com. Disconnecting a provider (like Google) from the Connections Hub immediately stops future syncing from that provider.
If this policy changes in a material way, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
